Tsengue-Tsengue promet des champignons aux Congolais
Connu comme fabricant des machines électromécaniques à travers sa Pmi Challenge Futura, Tsengué-Tsengué a décidé de changer de casquette pour revêtir celle de « producteur de champignons. ». Un autre challenge !
Ce changement de secteur d’activités est la conséquence des déboires qu’il a subis avec la justice suite à un différend foncier. Pourtant, contre mauvaise fortune, Tsengue-Tsengue fait bon cœur et trouve au fond de lui-même des ressorts pour se propulser, dopé par le prix «Titans Building Nations Awards 2014 » qu’il avait reçu à accra au Ghana. «Nous n’avons connu que des persécutions depuis 2003. J’ai décidé de fermer définitivement Challenge futura », assure-t-il promettant de créer une unité de production des champignons qu’il présentera au public dans les jours à venir.
« Je reste attacher à mon pays, le Congo »
Malgré la douche froide reçue et l’indifférence du gouvernement à qui il a envoyé un SOS, Tsengué-Tsengué ne baisse pas les bras. Il se dit toujours au service du Congo dont les défis sont majeurs en termes de développement. S’il n’est pas permis de parler « d’insécurité alimentaire » au Congo, le pays n’est cependant pas compté parmi les grands producteurs agricoles. L’unité que lance Tsengué-Tsengué se chargera de produire des champignons à base du copeau de bois avec 90% comme matière première (les déchets brouillés des planches recueillis dans les scieries), le son de riz à 5% (l’enveloppe du grain de riz qui représente 60% des valeurs nutritionnelles) ou le son de blé à 5% (les déchets de blé recueillis lors de la fabrication de la farine), emballé dans un sachet.
Le procédé expliqué par cet ingénieur veut que le tout soit plongé dans le broyeur puis introduit dans le mélangeur pour échouer dans le pasteurisateur électrique. Ce sont les trois premières étapes pour la production des champignons. «Le développement d’un pays passe par l’industrie manufacturière. Pour projeter la mécanisation de l’agriculture afin d’atteindre l’émergence, il faut commencer par soutenir ce qui existe. Ça doit cesser d’être des déclarations vaines ; j’irai m’exprimer ailleurs. Mais je resterai attacher à mon pays », dit-il.
Qui est Tsengue-Tsengue ?
Ingénieur sorti de l’école centrale de Paris, Tsengue-Tsengue rentre au pays en 1984 et commence sa carrière à la Congolaise de de Raffinage (CORAF). Gagnant en expérience et en expertise, cet ingénieur mécanicien congolais invente et met sur la place publique un sécheur de poissons salés dans les années 1990. Ce premier prototype qui suscite l’intérêt du public appelle à lui nombre d’entrepreneurs congolais.
Muni d’un “ brevet d’invention, c’est précisément en 2001 que Tsengue-Tsengue crée la société Challenge futura après avoir exercé à Agri Congo comme consultant. Cette petite et moyenne industrie était financée sur fonds propres. « Seule la volonté de réussir m’animait, mais cela passe par le travail ; je travaillais beaucoup. Il n’y a pas eu de génie ; j’ai commencé avec rien comme fonds, juste avec les matériaux ordinaires vendus dans les quincailleries que j’achetais avec les acomptes des clients», explique Tsengué-Tsengué.
